Essential Addictions’ new eco-friendly shea butter jars are made in the USA from 100% recycled material.  This new sustainable packaging minimizes the use of raw materials and is more energy efficient. Essential Addictions has always strived to use eco friendly packaging and minimize packaging when possible.

Did you know every year, about 8 million tons of plastic waste escapes into the oceans from coastal nations. That’s the equivalent of setting five garbage bags full of trash on every foot of coastline around the world.Recycling reduces the ecological impact of plastic.  Not only are these attractive jars recycled from wasted plastics, but they are in turn recyclable and re-usable as well! 

Although this jar is bigger and looks a bit different, rest assured you are getting the same great Shea Butter inside!  Don’t forget to recycle the jar when it’s gone.

Essential Addictions uses recycled plastic for our Shea Butter.  We also use glass bottles for our Hydrosol Face Tonic and Facial Serums.  We use un-bleach, waxed paper for our Bath Bombs.
